An interactive science museum is opening in your town/city. Its core target audience is primary and middle school children (7-15) and families with young children. The museum wants a website that is informative and appealing, that will attract both middle school pupils and their parents. The site should appeal to youngsters without pandering; it should take for granted that the audience is inquisitive and intelligent. The website should be informative and engaging, but should encourage viewers to visit the museum itself. The website should be responsive and be easy to use on a variety of devices.
Beskrivelse
With a ton of work separating images from the background, optimising images and trying to make everything smooth, i finally arrived at this solution. Mind that this project was before really learning Javascript or React, so this project reflects what i was possible to achieve with just HTML, CSS and basic Javscript (jQuery). Each page is designed to feel like different "sections" of the museum.
Mål
Create a website where every page feels like walking into a different environment.
Lært
I learned how to optimise GIF images and images with transparency. I also got a better understanding as to how to create a unified design system that allows room for diversity.
